The Costa Blanca offers so much variety to the visitor that it is impossible to even attempt to describe it all.
Particularly for the touring motorcyclist the Costa Blanca offers a wealth of changing roads,
interesting rides, scenery, superb year round weather (sometimes it rains) and places to visit.
There are many attractions on the Costa Blanca, some of them specially for tourists like the entertainment park
Terra Mitica at Benidorm or the bays of Altea and Calpe.
To us the greatest beauty of the Costa Blanca comes from the mountains and the sea.
Its beaches along with its tiny villages on the coast and tucked into the mountains give the
Costa Blanca its unique attraction and make it a superb riding area.

We have located our site in a position where the entire Costa Blanca is in easy reach for you.
These are only a small sample of the highlights of the Costa Blanca!

Our site, located near Alicante (15km), provides the ideal stopping point on your tour of Spain for a few days, a week or even longer. You would need a week just to scratch the surface of this wonderful area, just to enjoy the riding through the mountains with little traffic.

We are just over half way down the east coast of Spain off the main Autoroute (A7).

Agost The nearest village to our site (3km) and the centre of the pottery industry in Spain. Agost is a typical medium size Spanish village, friendly, tranquil and full of character.

In the area many pottery outlets can be found at true Spanish prices not tourist! The range is huge and you will easily need an empty trailer to take back all the lovely items you will see.

La Alcoraya is a small village approx 7 km from the site by road. La Alcoraya is unique in the number of cave houses in the village which covers 34km2. These cave houses, often extending deep into the hillside, maintain a steady temperature of 18 degrees C all the year.

La Alcoraya also has a typical Spanish restaurant
(Bar La Cueva) (Cave Bar) offering traditional Valencian Paella and other meals every lunchtime.

The city of Javea Spain lies about 85 km north east of us, in between Denia and Altea. You can reach Javea via the road N 332, a wonderful road along the coastline of the Costa Blanca. If you have some time discover the beauty of the area via this road - you will love it's views. Javea between Denia in the north and the Cabo de Nao in the south is embedded into two bays - the Cabo San Antonio and the Cabo San Martin. The average Javea weather reaches temperatures of up to 40°C in summer, but usually not less than 10°C during winter time.

Benidorm, located about 45 km northeast of us, just south of Altea is one main attraction along the Costa Blanca. Despite its skyscraper skyline it stands for beach and nightlife. There is lot's of nightlife in Benidorm. Surrounded by up to 1558 m high mountains, Benidorm is perfectly protected against the sometimes cold north winds. Benidorm has a macro climate and the temperature does not normally even go below 19° C in Winter.

Alicante, and it's wonderful boulevard with palm trees and shopping streets, is one of the most well-known towns along the Costa Blanca.

Known for its miles of sandy beaches, Alicante is starting point for thousands of tourists every year. Famous for its excellent Alicante weather, the city invites you to take a trip along the coast or to the wonderful island of Tabarca.

Jijona sometimes spelt as Xixona is a true Spanish town nestling in the mountains. It is located about 25km NW of us on one of the best riding roads in the area. On Sundays throughout the year many motorcyclists meet at the cafe above Jijona to practice riding on the twisty mountain road with superb views.

Jijona is the main producer of Turron, a nougat like sweet made from almonds much favoured in Spain and America.

El Campello located 20km north of us provides a traditional Spanish resort with few tourists other than Spanish. With its superb beaches and numerous beach front bars and cafes it provides an ideal place to while away an afternoon. In the evening we recommend a visit to
Bar Pequeno in Pueblo Espanol 5 minutes ride north of El Campello, again on the beach where a true 'Welsh' welcome from Eddie and Alli will await you.
