This is not a circular route but a ride to a specific place for a specific purpose.

On Sundays from about 11:00am the local bikers and bike clubs ride up and down the N340 stopping for a break, food, drink and chat at the cafe half way up the mountain. Superb views across the valley to El Campello and Alicante can be seen from this cafe.

Above the cafe, about 5km a hotel can be seen from the road on the right hand side. By turning right into a small entrance at the crest of the mountain and continuing for about 1km you can stop at this hotel for coffee again seeing probably the best views in the area.

Allow 3-4 hours .

The 'Riders ride'

This is a riders ride. The mountain part is not for the faint hearted if you want to make progress!

Watching the bikes coming down the twisty mountain road is an experience.
