Ride three

Difficulty-moderate
Length-150km

Good  roads,
twisty in places
Rest points
Excellent views
Changing scenery

This ride provides minor and major road riding through, in part, mountains, a number of local towns, villages and hamlets.

There is a mixture of  'interesting' roads through the mountains (about 25km) and a town La Nucia which has tight roads

Alcoi provides the first stop where coffee etc can be brought in one of the local cafes while watching town life.

In the Summer La Nucia can be busy with many coaches and tourists. Caution is advised on the twistier parts of the road in this area.

Depending on how often you want to stop La Nucia or Benidorm provide ideal places for a lunch stop

On returning from Benidorm you have the choice of the fast and straight A7 toll road or using the N332 which will take you along the coast through picturesque places such as Villajoyosa and Coveta Fuma. This road, particularly in the summer, can be very congested and slow in the area of Villajoyosa

Allow a full day for the full tour.

The interesting part of this ride is in La Nucia where the scenery changes from harsh to lush in every respect of the word. Oranges, lemons and many other fruit trees abound in quantities that have to be seen to be believed.

A large motorcycle museum with many European bikes can be found here together with a Safari Park just up the road.

This ride can be taken in part or in full since there is so much to see and do
